In Acts 20, the Apostle Paul charged a group of leaders with the task of shepherding the church of God, tending it tenderly and with wisdom. Here at Third Church, we have appointed a group of our most experienced and gifted shepherds to undertake the same task. These are men and women who love people and the Lord deeply, have a wealth of wisdom, and have been trained. They have been recognized and commissioned by our church to walk with people in moments of crisis and pain.

You can be assured of confidentiality and integrity as each Crisis Care Team member will possess spiritual maturity and continued growth. Each will have a good reputation and will exhibit one or more spiritual gifts of mercy, shepherding, wisdom, discernment, faith, intercession and/or encouragement. In addition each Crisis Care Team member will be required to attend periodic training in the areas of crisis care.
