GROW represents our journey of becoming like Jesus in Word and Spirit. Jesus was the merging of the Word and Spirit, so we GROW and become like Him today through the Word and Spirit. To GROW is essential for us because the depth and breadth of our faith hinges on whether or not we are growing.

GROWING is process-oriented in our lives. Our discipleship life is also a process, or a JOURNEY of developing in Christ-likeness. Because of this reality, the GROW opportunities at Third Church are best presented as JOURNEYS. A JOURNEY involves process, action, movement, change, experiences, stops and starts, variety, humdrum and surprises. There are many JOURNEYS available within the key faith areas of essential discipleship, character, healing and calling, and multiplication, ministry and mission.

We hope these pages will help you get connected more deeply to others and Christ.  It is our dream that someday we will have many more options as people step out and use their God-given gifts and interests in many diverse ways.  I am thankful for the men and women who are leading the charge to facilitate groups, and I know if you are involved in any of these opportunities, you will grow and be challenged.  The Lord is working in amazing ways, and I pray you will consider joining in.

Please note our weather cancellation policy:
The Adult Discipleship weather cancellation policy follows the Pella Schools' decision to cancel or delay.  If classes are delayed in the morning, our classes and events are canceled until noon.  If there is an early out, evening classes and events are canceled.  If school is canceled for the day, all classes and events at Third are canceled for the day as well.
